We are still making our way down to Ft. Lauderdale. No huge disasters yet. We did have one dog throw up to deal with…..which I will not go into details about but lets just say Sampson has excellent aim. Note to self: Don’t over feed an 80 pound animal before a car trip.
I love this new boutique hotel by Marriott btw. And they take dogs, even big ol Goldendoodles. They even gave Sam a doggie treat welcome bag upon checkin. So if anyone needs a place to stay in N’awlins, check them out. Here’s some picks just cause I thought the hotel was so cool.
Unfortunately, we are all so tired that we don’t have time to enjoy this awesome city! As a side note tho, I had a huge reminder about just how small this world can be at times. I met a random couple in the lobby and after a brief conversation, we realized we all had both spent some time at Henderson State U and had some of the same professors. So it was loads of fun messing with one of my all time favorite professors, Mike Taylor, via zoom calls! Lol! Sorry Mike!
